Saab 95 Estate 7-seater 1974

Saab 95 Estate 7-seater 1974

Rehomed successfully in September 2006

Hagstrom's 95 Estate has now found a good home in deepest Somerset with Steve and family but lest we forget, we are engraving it on the web!

Finished in green with green interior, quality CD/Radio just fitted, rear seat belts, 1495cc engine with manual 4-speed gearbox and freewheel system. Full of character and great fun to drive! Likened by many to something out of Thunderbirds, this was the Directors favourite Saab and he certainly thundered around in it!

Interesting Fact re 95 Estates generally:

The 95 Estate has just achieved 7th position in the "SEVEN SEATERS" competition featured in The Independent's Motoring Section 12 Sept 2006 - just pipped to the post by the Land Rover Discovery (2004), the Volvo XC90 (2002), the Citroen C4 Picasso (2006), the Renault Grand Scenic (2004), the Ford S-Max (2006) and the Hudson Sedan (1927).

The caption was as follows: "Saab 95, 1959" - Rearmost seat belts faced backwards to keep the kids quiet - something that's still done today. Wouldn't have been an obvious choice but the car, from this former aircraft manufacturer, has an air of individuality".
