When is a Saab not a Saab? When it's a Subaru
Saab are launching a new car in America! The 9-2X but don’t get too excited. It’s actually a Subaru Impreza. I don’t know what they’re smoking over in Trollhatten these days but apparently a good way to improve Saab’s sales and status is to take a Scooby Impreza Estate, change the interior and front end and hey presto, it’s a 4WD Saab 92X.
Well, if I wanted a Subaru Impreza I would buy a Subaru Impreza not a Saab trying to be one, or vice versa. This car is, as a good friend of mine would say, a load of total bobbins!!
What is Saab doing? Are they trying to make a successful car by riding on the coat tails of Subaru? Are they trying to find out how well a 4WD Saab will sell before they build it properly? Or are they just too lazy to design and build their own car?
Well, it’s a c**p idea Saab, so don’t be so bl***y silly.
